Who we recognize
The Changemaker Award recognizes individuals working in advertising and design in Canada who have created effective, necessary, or positive change that has impacted the industry now and in the future, for the better.
Changemakers have changed the game in some way, helping reshape the trajectory of our creative industry and community, progressing it forward.
Who is eligible
The Changemaker Awards are open to individuals working in the Canadian advertising and design community — working in agencies, studios, production companies, education institutions, or working freelance.
These individuals can have any degree of experience but must have work, projects, programs, or initiatives made between April 2020 and April 2025. This can include client-based work, personal projects, or other initiatives that created positive change in the industry and creative community.
Projects may be done by agencies, teams, or individuals, but the nominee must be the lead and directly responsible. Additional context outside of that time may also be provided, but the award recipient will primarily be determined by their recent work or initiative.
